Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving, yummy food, family, traditions, GRATITUDE! I have so much to be thankful for...my wonderful husband (who puts up with me!), three gorgeous children, an extended family who loves us, a cozy home filled with love, a loving Heavenly Father... I could go on forever. I love Thanksgiving. We spent it with my family this year. The group was small but fun. We ate a delicious dinner, thanks Grandma! While we cleaned up the children colored on paper at the table, then we went to the park. When we came back to Grandmas, Brent and his family had arrived and the tree came out. Every Thanksgiving we help Grandma and Grandpa Thatcher set up and decorate their Christmas tree. The little children loved the box and the big kids hung their favorite ornaments. Then we make a candy countdown out of ribbon, colored saran wrap and candy...and so begins CHRISTMAS!

Scrappy Hearts

Every November the Saturady before Thanksgiving we have an ornament exchange party with family and friends hosted by my sister in law Jen. This year I made 'Scrappy Hearts'. I had to do something fast and easy sinceI put off making the ornaments untilthe last minute. I thought they turned out pretty cute!

Discovery Gateway!

Daniel loves Discovery Gateway!
We met Crys, Ammon and Amanda there and the children had a great time playing. Water works, building, rock wall (Mandy is the bravest)! Blocks and the Helicopter! WE love to do fun things with our cousins!

I can't figure out why people don't like cats, besides being allergic and the kitty box. I love my cat. She never bugs me. She only wants affection a couple of times of day, her fur is soft, she cuddles and PURRS... She is independent and assertive. She mostly loves me and Anna, and keeps our feet warm at night (moving from room to room)! She comforts us, stays out of the way when we are busy and keeps the mice out..although I haven't seen any in our house..CATS are the best!

It has been way to long since I posted anything. So much has happened, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays, New Years, New President...I promise to catch up!
