Daniels Birthday!

Daniels birthday started with a bang! They had race car day at preschool and it was a blast. I was worried Daniel wouldn't get to do the 'spanking machine' and asked his teacher to be sure to do it, having no idea what it was. Before the race cars got to watch their drive in movie Ms. Fidge called Daniel up. Daniel immediately shouted 'Mom get the camera!' They sang happy birthday to him, then she bent him over her knee and did a pretend spanking up to five...I never knew anyone that was excited for a spanking, then Daniel jumped up with a big smile, rang the birthday bell five times, picked his birthday book and jumped back in his race car. It was a moment to cherish.

The next day on his actual birthday Daniel woke up to his birthday balloons, cheesed a big smile then whipped out the silly spray from under his pillow and started spraying everyone. He had been saving it for a week under his pillow for his birthday! That evening we had brownies and presents!

Saturday was the big party. We have a party every other year...and 5 is one of those years. Friends, a live python (courtesy of our home teacher), crafts and lots of fun! Oh to be '5' again! Happy Birthday Daniel!

Science Fair

We just had our Science Fair. It is always crazy to finish the project and get the board done, but this year we had to do 2! Matthew and Anna each came up with the project themselves. Matthew built 2 bridges and tested how much weight they could Carry before they broke...the strongest held 126 lbs, amazing for Popsicle sticks and wood glue.Matthew received a Superior rating! Anna tested to see what would dissolve salt faster. She was so dedicated and found that salt dissolves fastest in water..like chemical properties dissolve like! Anna received an Outstanding rating! Good Job!

Happy Birthday Matthew!

My first baby and now BIG BOY is 11! I can't believe it! Matthew is an amazing boy, he is brilliant in math, talented with music, loves chess. He makes good friends and is a GREAT big brother, although he loves to tease! He is growing up way to fast for me! Since this was the off year for parties we had birthday balloons, take out Chinese, cake and ice cream, presents and lots of fun!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW!

Bergeson Cousins!

Our Boise cousins came into town for our dear Uncle Dons Funeral. We will miss him. The bonus was we got to see our cousins. The girls all have so much fun together...Mckinley we missed you!

I Spy Quilts

I have been making these 'I Spy' quilts to sale..Joseph is my salesman. It is fun!
They are so bright, happy and a great way to spend time with your children!

Sledding

My kids love it when Suzette comes into town (I do too!). They miss Her children so much..always asking when we are going to move to California. We had a chance to go sledding, the pictures are not that great because it was night, but it was really fun! MAtthew was out staying at Grandma Bergeson's house with his cousin Brandon.

Bowling

After Christmas we decided to spend a morning bowling. It was great fun. We had Pizza, pretzels, rootbeer and good company. Most of the children had never been bowling before so it was a blast!

Christmas 2008

Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year. Wh have so much going on, piano recitals, band recitals, choir recitals, parties, friends family...etc. We love it! We do cookies with Grandma and play with cousins. Joseph came into town and spoiled all the children rotten! This year we did Christmas Eve at our house for my family the Sunday before Christmas. Everyone came that lives in Utah. The children all performed..although sometimes they were quite silly. We had dinner, program, SANTA*, and dessert...it was so much fun! Grandma makes each of the children matching PJ's out of flannel for Christmas. We love it!

*Grandpa is Santa. It is really funny when the little ones figure it out as they get older!
